⚓ HORMUZ — Demining declared by the man who benefits most from believing it. 📌 LOOK CLOSER: Trump's claim inverts the burden of proof — no independent verification, no naval confirmation cited. If true, escort credibility partially restores and tanker traffic could resume. If false or premature, insurers won't move.

🛰️ ORBITAL — Israel announces space weapons while still fighting a ground war below. 📌 LOOK CLOSER: Katz's announcement is a strategic signal, not a near-term capability. "Rods from God" tungsten kinetic strikes remain theoretically viable but operationally distant. Timed mid-conflict, this targets deterrence optics toward Iran

🏛️ EMBASSIES — Washington signals reduced threat, but the strait is still closed. 📌 LOOK CLOSER: Returning diplomatic staff requires a formal security reassessment — it signals the Pentagon and State believe direct-strike risk has dropped below operational threshold. A successful hit under escort collapses the escort program's deterrent value entirely.
