Belgium to Send 7 More F-16s to Ukraine, Eyes Full Fleet Transfer
✈️ BRUSSELS — Belgium just named its entire F-16 fleet as Ukraine's, eventually. 📌 LOOK CLOSER: Seven jets now; the full fleet transfer is the strategic tell. Francken naming it publicly locks Belgium in before F-35s arrive. With US forces already drawing down in Europe, F-16 transfers to Kyiv serve double duty: sustaining Ukraine and consolidating European air capacity. NATO's eastern flank gets the gesture; the gap it papers over is real.
